In December 3D Recruit held our first Leadership Education Session and it was a huge success! Big thank you to Markus van Driel for being our guest speaker and to all of the Managers in the Aged Care sector that attended. More sessions will be held over the coming months so please contact us if you would like to be included on the guest list.
Leadership in the aged care sector is continuing to be a topic of great interest for our industry. Every organisation, every workplace, every team needs leaders, but is it something we actively talk about?
We all know leadership and career journeys are different for everyone. Join the Acorn Network on September 28th, as they explore the journey of Perth’s local care leaders.
How do others ‘do’? How do we support each other? How have others become leaders?
Be inspired and connect with those who are passionate about our industry’s future. This event is limited to 30 participants. We’ll be there. Get your ticket today.
Significant changes to aged care funding is set to take place in February 2017, with home care package going directly to the consumer – not through the Aged Care Approval Round (ACAR) process.
There are a number of considerations to be aware of, but the need to find the right staff during this period of change is of high priority for providers as we move into a more competitive and consumer driven-market.
3D Recruit is presenting at the ACSWA Symposium:New to Home Care Packages on September 1st on this very topic. Working through what you will need to an employer of choice in this changing, consumer-driven marketplace.
This event is for new entrants that are looking to provide Home Care Packages in the new world and will work through the very basics of what you will need to become a Home Care Package provider. We look forward to seeing you there.
Laura’s presentation at the Aged & Community Services WA’s Workforce Forum (May, 2016) showcased the issues and challenges the aged care industry faces in staff engagement and retention.
With insights into industry trends and the challenges organisations face in engaging their employees, we received fantastic feedback and have been ask to present again in September.
3D Recruit are spending 2016 focusing on taking our service to the next level! Our vision is to improve the quality of recruitment within Aged Care and Community Services. One of the ways we aim to achieve this is to obtain feedback on your experience.
Another way we aim to improve our service is by continuing to offer useful information regarding some of the issues affecting recruitment. We have dedicated this newsletter to providing insights on how to reduce staff turnover, improve the recruitment process and maintain employee engagement.
Our vision is to raise the bar in recruitment and retention in Aged Care (yep that’s right, retention too!) We are committed to introducing high calibre applicants to providers who are aligned in culture and values. We believe that matching you with the right organisation will advance your career beyond just your next job, and will propel your development into the future.
In this edition we cover Interview Tips. If there is anything specific you would like to see in future editions, we would love to hear your suggestions…

We are proud corporate sponsors of ACSWA (Aged & Community Services WA) and recently exhibited at the 2015 annual conference. This is Angela and Laura at our booth before the delegates arrived. At the end of January we get to experience a ‘warm and fuzzy’sensation, which arises from funds you helped to raise for our Charities, through the purchase of Christmas cards.
Over the past 6 years you have helped to donate over $2,250,000!
The collective power of people is enormous and every bit helps especially in these times!
In 2014 3D Recruit supported Alzheimer’s Australia WA with your personalised Christmas cards and below is their personal note of thanks;
“We are so grateful to the organisations and individuals who support Alzheimer’s Australia WA by purchasing Charity Greeting cards.
Through their support we can continue to provide a higher level of vital care and support to the thousands of people facing dementia in WA.”
